Seasonal Flu FAQ

Flu Vaccine Frequently Asked Questions

Influenza Information and FAQ

Individual physicians intermittently receive limited supply of flu vaccine (mist and injectable), however our supply is not under our control.  Please be patient this flu season as we deal with the combination of increased demand and decreased supply.

Do you recommend my child receive the Flu vaccine?
  • Yes, for children 6 months and up.
Do you have the Seasonal Flu vaccine?
  • Flu vaccine supply is physician dependent.  Currently Drs. Davis, Weaver, and Herring are out of injectable vaccine.
I heard my child may be able to get the vaccine at school.  What do you think?
  • This may be true for H1N1 but not for the regular seasonal flu vaccine.
Will you vaccinate parents or visitors?
  • It is purely dependent on the supply in the office.  We currently have flumist available for parents to purchase.
How do I arrange for a vaccine in your office?
  • Please call for an appointment with your physician's nurse when available.
