Regarding 2009-2010 STATE Flu Vaccine
- We currently have adequate State Flu vaccine. However, please note the following. When we do not have the State Flu supply, the following applies:
- Federal
rules prevent us from administering anything other than state vaccine
to Medicaid patients. We recommend requesting the vaccine from the
health department for Medicaid patients, and will happily provide State
Flu vaccine when we receive more.
- Self-Pay, uninsured, and underinsured patients may request the physician's supply of vaccine be administered with applicable charges
Individual
physicians currently have a limited supply of flu vaccine (mist and injectable),
however our supply is not under our control. Please be patient this
flu season as we deal with the combination of increased demand and
decreased supply.
