She practiced at Adolescent Medicine Associates in Mount Pleasant from 2008-2019.  Dr Hughes grew up in Ohio and graduated from Wittenberg University in Biology and Psychology. She attended medical school at MUSC where she met her husband, a Mt Pleasant native. She completed her pediatric residency training at Vanderbilt University, and practiced general pediatrics in Nashville from 1995-97. Dr Hughes is thrilled to be back at MPP, and when she’s not here, she likes spending time with her family on the water, in the waves, or watching sports.
