Per Governor Henry McMaster, all South Carolinians aged 16 and older will be eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine as of Wednesday, March 31, 2021.
At this time, Mount Pleasant Pediatrics is NOT administering the COVID-19 vaccine, however, we do recommend getting the vaccine if you or your child is eligible.
To find the most updated list of locations accepting COVID-19 vaccine appointments across South Carolina, visit the SC DHEC website: scdhec.gov/vaxlocator . Contact information is listed for each individual location and we recommend calling the location directly to schedule an appointment.
If a patient has received the COVID-19 vaccine, please inform your provider at your next appointment, as they will need to document the date of vaccine or vaccines in your chart.
Also if you are scheduled to get the COVID19 vaccine and have a visit with us please advise the provider, so we do not administer any routine vaccines within the 14 day time frame prior to your COVID19 vaccine.
